Our specialist Family Advocates understand the complexities and nuances of family law, ensuring compassionate and effective representation for our clients.

We consistently advise in relation to private law matters for child arrangements including matters of residence, contact, parental responsibility including applications for Specific Issue orders and Prohibited Steps orders in accordance with our children’s law. We are experienced in matters of domestic violence including both applying for Domestic Violence Injunctions and responding to them depending on the circumstances of our clients.

We also act in Affiliation and Maintenance proceedings as well as advising in relation to child maintenance.

We are instructed in a majority of the public law matters relating to children in the Bailiwick including in court proceedings such as Community Parentings Orders and representing clients in the Child, Youth and Community Tribunal, in proceedings before the Convener and throughout the Committee for Health and Social Care’s involvement with a family.
